Victor PRIEBE Obituary
83 years. Passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Late of Windsor. Dear son of the late Charles and Ellen Priebe. Predeceased by his sister Helen. Dr. Priebe was a Radiologist at Windsor's Hotel Dieu Hospital for many years until his retirement more than 20 years ago. He founded a camera and photography club in the area and won many awards for his photographs. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time in the city's public libraries. He will be missed by the many friends and colleagues he associated with over the years. Visitation will be held at the

on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Memorial Chapel. Victor will be laid to rest beside his parents at Moore Union Cemetery, St. Clair, Ontario on Monday, January 26, 2015. Rather than making a donation or sending flowers, Victor's wish was to use those funds to help someone in need around you. Just heard today of Dr. Priebe's death.
He was a gentle man who cared for each of his patients. He treated each one as he would have treated his own family. He was unpretentious and enjoyed sitting and talking. I remember his love of swimming, photography,Tilley hats,and his love of time spent at Point Pelee. Thanks for the memories. God Bless.

I was sorry to hear of Victor's passing. He carried the same name as my dad, Victor Hugh Priebe, who was his father's brother.

Saddened to hear of Victor's death. We were professional partners for over 30 years and in our younger days shared many drinks, conferences ...particularly in Chicago ...and had many good times.
