FAW PILOT MOUNTAIN- Mr. Herbert Eugene Faw, age 80 of 247 S. Boyles Street, Pilot Mountain, NC husband of Mrs. Betty Jo Wilson Faw passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at his home He was born December 9, 1929 in Surry County to the late William Euriah and Mittie Ann Jarrell Faw. He was retired from NC Granite Corp and was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are his wife; Betty Jo Wilson Faw of the home, a daughter and son-in-law; Sharon and Jeff Holder, Lexington, a son and daughter-in-law; Gary and Patricia Faw, Knightdale, five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Ruby and Jim Uldrick, Rachel and William Puckett and Louise Vaughn all of Mt. Airy and a brother and sister-in-law; Dennis and Ann Faw, Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Lee Boyette and Dr. David Sparks. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home.
