STEELMAN EAST BEND - Doris Lynn Steelman, 51, of East Bend died Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was born in Forsyth County on August 7, 1958; daughter of the late Beauford Steelman and Nancy Boggs Ray of East Bend, NC and was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Forbush Community, Yadkin County, NC. Survivors include Mother and step-father, Nancy Boggs Ray and John Howard Ray both of East Bend, son and friend Daniel Ray Williams and Chelsea Walker both of East Bend, sister, Darlene Hawks of East Bend and brother, "Little Brother" Donnie Steelman of Forbush, and her boyfriend, Kenny Draughn of Mocksville. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Davie Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Monroe Otto officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
