Robert Ontis Obituary

ONTIS LEXINGTON - Robert L. Ontis, Jr. Oct. 12, 1961 - Feb. 7, 2012 Robert L. Ontis, Jr. age 50, passed away at his home on Tuesday February 7, 2012 surrounded by his family. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday February 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel. Robert was born October 12, 1961 in Alton Illinois, to Robert L. Ontis, Sr. and Della M. Ontis. He was a former employee of Owens Illinois with over 15 years of service. Robert was very artistic and loved to draw, and very much enjoyed architecture and landscaping. He loved life & lived it to the fullest. He was preceded in death by a sister Roxanne Ontis. He is survived by his parents of the home; and sister, Shiela O. Wright of Pinnacle, N.C.. Memorials, in Robert's memory may be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care Centers of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103 Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family. Please accept my condolences regarding the loss of Robert. I am a colleague of Shelia's at Forsyth Medical Center and I know her dedication and compassion in serving her family and her work family. She beamed as she talked about her brother and the close relationship they shared. Again, my prayers are with your family.
