Aunt Ruth was very special to me because she lived with us, went to high school, and took care of me while Mother worked when I was tiny. We'll miss her, but I fully expect to see her soon. As I said to my mother when she was about to move upstairs, "It's all right for you to go see Jesus, and we'll be along in a little bit." I pray God's special comfort for Uncle E.C., and all the rest of the family. P.S., I had to select a state, and Mexico was not on the list.

Uncle EC, Lydia, and Skip ~~
You are all in my thoughts and my heart at this time. Always I remember Aunt Ruth's warm and generous hospitality when we all got together at her house at Christmas. She always made us feel so very welcome when we visited. I can see Aunt Ruth's beautiful smile, which Lydia has as well!
I always enjoyed seeing you all.
Love to You from Beth

Nana was a woman to be reckoned with. She was a woman of intense faith in the Lord, and I know she is with him now. So many people have been blessed to be touched by this remakable woman. I know I have been blessed to have her as my Nana for the past 27 years. I love her so much, and she will be greatly missed by many people. Especially by her loving husband of 68 years, E.C. We will miss you Nana. I Love You Very Much!

Please know that your family is close in my heart as you go through the next few days. Your mother was a pillar of strength and such a joy to serve while at Piedmont Dialysis. If was a privilege working with the various members of the family as arrangements for placement were arranged for your mother. I will always remember your mother's sense of self-determination and resiliency.

Mrs James was a remarkably strong women of faith and love. It was truly my honor and pleasure to care for her while she was at the Oaks. May God wrap your family in his strong arms of comfort and strenth.

We were so sorry about Aunt Ruth's passing. She has had a rough time these last few months and years. I am so glad that we were able to visit with her the last time I was in NC. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
