BAILEY TOBACCOVILLE - Scott Alan Bailey, 31, of Tobaccoville, NC, was born March 2, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, son of Marian Kanaan Bailey and Dr. Paul Bailey, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio. His life tragically ended August 21, 2008, following a bicycling accident, an activity which brought him great joy. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Terri) A. Flagg, Tobaccoville, NC, (formerly of Owego, NY, and Norfolk, VA); Paul Andrew Bailey, ten month old son; Parents: Marian Kanaan Bailey, Winston-Salem, NC, Paul Henry Bailey, Tobaccoville, NC; Phillip Bailey, brother, of Winston-Salem, NC; Stepmother: Julia Bailey, Tobaccoville, NC; Step brothers: Daniel Moore and Dr. Jason Moore. Parents-in-law: Paul and Maxine Flagg, of Interlaken, NY; Nieces and Nephews, Alyssa Bailey, Reynolds Bailey, Jason Breckner, and Lauryn Breckner; Loving extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, brother and sisters-in-laws, many friends, and his classmates and faculty, of Wake Forest University School of Law who meant so much to him. Scott was a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, a Wake Forest University Law Student, and was a talented musician and former music teacher. Scott was a special kind of person who left a mark on all who knew him. He was talented and intelligent, a loving husband to his wife. Scott loved his little boy so very much; they shared a very special bond. Scott' s family wishes to thank physicians, nurses and all staff at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations to Brenner' s Children' s Hospital would be greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Scott' s life will be conducted from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday, August 24, 2008, at the Tobaccoville Community Center, Tobaccoville Village Park, (4225 Tobaccoville Rd, at Doral Road). Informal attire.
