Haessly, Donna

Donna M. Haessly age 82, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her home.

At Donna's request a private Memorial Mass was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa. Rev. John Swing officiated. Condolences may be expressed at www.ritchayfuneralhome.com. Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nekoosa and sent to 3769 Cherry Tree Drive, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406.

Donna was born December 10, 1929 in Wisconsin Rapids to Ralph and Anita (Korbitz) Schelvan. She married Arnold Haessly on October 21, 1950 in Wisconsin Rapids. He passed away October 29, 2004. Donna along with her husband, Arnold, owned and operated Haessly & Haessly, Inc. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother to her family.

She is survived by her five children, Arnie Haessly III of Wisconsin Rapids, James (Peggy) Haessly of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Jodi (Mike) Haessly-Anderson of Wisconsin Rapids, Dirk (Mary) Haessly of Wisconsin Rapids, and Jeff (Lisa) Haessly of Knowlton; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Amy), Nicole, Jordan (Rob), Morgan, Bailey, Sydney and Ryan; five great grandchildren, Rachael, Megan, Allyson, Ellie and Ian; and one brother, Kim (Jeanice) Schelvan of Bancroft

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Thomas and David Schelvan.

The Haessly family would like to thank all of Donna's caregivers and especially April, Jessie and Laura for their great care and friendship.
