He remained on their board of directors for many years following his retirement. He was past president of the Northern District of Savings and Loans and a member of the Wisconsin Bankers Fifty Year Club. Ed will be remembered as a devoted and involved husband, father and grandfather. His integrity was his most valued asset professionally and personally. He was someone you could depend on. He put four children through college all the while teaching us the value of a dollar. He loved the outdoors, the Packers, UW basketball and football. He shared his joy of fishing and the outdoors with all of his kids and grandkids. He was a master griller and short order breakfast cook. He liked to travel but the best part was coming back to his beloved Wisconsin. Our steady Eddy is leaving a piece of himself with all of those who loved him.
