Michael J. Brunette, age 44, of Nekoosa, died Monday, November 5th, 2012.



There will be no public service or visitation, according to his wishes. Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home of Nekoosa is assisting the family.

Michael was born January 27, 1968 in Reading, England to Raymond and Carol (Mallows) Brunette. He married Tammy Greenwald on July 5, 1986 in Kenosha. Mike was a truck driver and was currently employed by RoadReady Transfer Service. He was also formerly employed as a flooring installer in Minocqua, WI.

Mike liked camping, hiking and traveling with his family. He loved sitting around the campfire talking and singing to the guitar. He built several homes with help from his family in Wisconsin. Mike enjoyed working in the garage and worked on multiple projects around the house. He was a caring and loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy, and four sons, Kyle (25), Nicholas (24), Shane (17), and Milo (11); his parents, Raymond Brunette of Kenosha, and Carol (Mel) Carter of Kenosha; one brother, David (Brenda) Brunette of Kenosha; and one sister, Keri (Brian) Schue of Oak Creek; by his father- and mother in-law, Jim and Lynne Greenwald Sr. of Kenosha; his brothers and sisters in-law, James and Marianne Greenwald Jr. of Kenosha, Allen and Cathy Greenwald of Arbor Vitae, and Jose and Jeanet Lopez of Kenosha; and by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Brunette, and his Aunt, Terry Rasico, both whom he dearly loved , and his grandfather, Francis Brunette.

Mike will be sadly and dearly missed.
