Rose Panzer, 79, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Riverview Hospital. She was born January 10, 1934 to Esdras and Victoria Tessier in Duluth, Minnesota. She was married to Herbert Young on February 20, 1953. Herbert passed on September 8, 1985. On July 18, 1987, she was married to Gordon Panzer of Wisconsin Rapids.
Rose and Gordon enjoyed traveling together. Alaska was their favorite destination. She was also an enthusiastic card player. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting and also collected angels.
Rose is survived by her husband Gordon. Sons: Donald (Melissa) Young, Dale (Ann) and Richard (Deb Lowell) Young. Daughters: Sharon (Tom) Peltier, Suzanne (Greg Kromenaker) Young.
Stepsons: Rodney (Mary), Steve (Christia), Larry (Batina) Banzer and Jeff Panzer.
Stepdaughters: Sharon (Paul) George, Linda Panzer, and Lori (Rendel) Mews.
Brothers: Ludger, Arthur (Hope), Edward (Roz), Henry (Missy) Tessier.
Sisters: Victoria Tyo, Irene Harteau, Clara Ratajek, Leona (alex) Seguin, Lorraine (Robert) DeRoche. 27 Grandchildren. 25 Great- Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at St. Vincent DePaul.
