Betty J. Tetzlaff of Glendale, AZ formerly Wausau, WI, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep, December 4, 2012.
She was born October 5, 1925, to Herbert and Mabel (Baumann) Schave. She married Elroy Tetzlaff on March 30, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1993. She attended Wausau East High School. She was employed by Wausau Motor Parts for nearly 40 years. She had two children, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She lived in Wausau, WI, until she was 62 when she retired. She then moved to AZ. She enjoyed being with friends, loving children her grandchildren and extended family children. She loved to bowl, knit and crochet.
She is the Beloved mother of Gary (Sherry) Tetzlaff of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Pamela (Mark) Potter of Goodyear, AZ. She was the dear grandmother of Travis (Noelle), Sean (Trish), both of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Christopher Potter of Scottsdale, AZ. She was the loving great-grandmother to Brendon, Sydney, Ian and Corryn Tetzlaff. She is further survived by sister, Verna (Dan) Gorski of Rothschild, WI; and by brothers, Herbert (Dawn) Schave of Rhinelander, WI; Milton (Jeannie) Schave of Fond du lac; and Tyrone (Sylvia) Schave of Rhinelander. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, DuWayne Witter, Phillip Saindon, Ralph Tetzlaff, Robert Tetzlaff, Donald Roll; and sister-in-law, Lois Zinser. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She is survived by wonderful and caring friends Belinda, Debbie, Julie, Sara, and special companion, Carmen, as well as many long-time friends in Wausau.
Her parents Herbert Sr. and Mabel Schave preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were brother, Gerald Schave, and sisters, Nancy (Walter) Yokimcus, Alice (Ernie) Crotteau, Dawn Witter, and Marie Saindon. Also by brothers-in-law, Edward Tetzlaff (Mary Rose), Bill Zinser; sisters-in-law, Betty Roll and Joyce Wipfli, Corrine Tetzlaff, and Arlene Tetzlaff.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers,, there will be a memorial established for the
