Eunice E. Nitz, 98, formerly of Dancy, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Stevens Point Care Center.
She was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Marathon County, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Henrietta (Hotchkiss) Witz. On Nov. 14, 1984, she married Kenneth Nitz. He preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1984.
Eunice and Ken loved to dance! She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, fishing and was always trying to help whoever she could. She was a member of the Ladies Aid at St. John Lutheran Church in Dancy.
Survivors include a brother, Bud (Kathy) Witz; three sisters, Kate Clark, Ellen Wirsbinski and Hattie Krieg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight siblings.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, Dancy. The Rev. Timothy Roser will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m., Monday until time of services at the Church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is in charge of arrangements.
