Joseph A. Jaminski Jr., age 83, of 7740 South Park Road, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehab Center, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Monday, August 19, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. John Steiner will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Sunday from 3:00-6:00 PM and Monday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM.
Joseph was born June 15, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Viola (St. Germain) Jaminski Sr. He married Mary Ann Hribernik on May 25, 1956 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Joseph owned and operated Raging Bull Supper Club in Kellner, WI and later owned and operated J & J Concrete in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Joseph served in the U.S., Army during the Korean War from 1953-1955.
Joe's favorite thing in life was to work on something. He took great pride in projects he created and completed. He met many wonderful people along the path and enjoyed his acquaintances. He loved the outdoors and animals and also enjoyed their winter home in Apache Junction, AZ, where they wintered for 10 years.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; four children, Jim Jaminski of Kellner, WI, Julie Singer of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, John (Peg) Jaminski of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Bill Jaminski of Phillips, WI; two sisters, Edna Carlson and Mary Reagen, both of Prescott, AZ; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob and sister, Catherine Ringer.
