Nordman, Kenneth M.

Kenneth M. Nordman, age 91, of Edgewater Haven Nursing Home, Port Edwards, WI died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Edgewater Haven.

Funeral Services are 1:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, Port Edwards, WI. Rev. Bill Beaton will officiate. Burial at a later date. Visitation will be held at United Methodist Church in Port Edwards, WI on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is handling all arrangements.

Kenneth was born May 7, 1921 in Superior, WI to Edmund and Rena (Peterson) Nordman. He married Lola Mae Wilton on June 17, 1944 in Duluth, MN. She died February 22, 2009. Kenneth was in retail sales for Cook Paint & Varnish Co. and for Steele Motors VW Auto.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942-1944. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners and United Commercial Travelers.

Kenneth is survived by four children- Ken (Lori) Nordman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Len (Mary Kay) Nordman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Ed (Sandy) Nordman of Green Bay, WI and Gail (Tom) Harriman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; six grandchildren, Lisa (Matt) Lewis, Holly (Travis) Meyers, Tyler (Bri) Nordman, Michelle (Brian) Roberts, Rebecca (Ryan) Scipior and David (Janel) Sabatke; eight great grandchildren, Emma and Evan Lewis, Miette Meyers, Cameron and Chiara Roberts, Taylor and Blake Scipior and Abigail Sabatke; two step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lola Mae; son, Steven Nordman; grandson, Kenneth Nordman and two brothers, Robert and Glenn Nordman.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Kenneth's name at a later date.
