Kevin Joseph Arendt, 38 years old of Mississauga, Canada, formerly of Nekoosa, died unexpectedly on June 29, 2012.
A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa. Visitation will be 11:00 am. - 1:00 pm. Memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM. with Pat Foley officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the service at Riverside Park in Nekoosa.
Kevin was born on September 13, 1973 to Barbara and David Arendt. Kevin graduated from Nekoosa High School. He then attended U.W. La Crosse, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and English. Kevin was currently attending Medaille College in Buffalo, NY to obtain a master's degree in teaching.
Kevin's love for life and travel allowed him to explore the U.S. and many other continents and countries such as Antarctica, South America, Poland, and Italy to name a few. He enjoyed sharing his experiences with family and friends. In addition to his travels, Kevin was an avid fan of the Packers and Brewers.
Kevin is survived by his life partner, Lena Kandola of Mississauga, Canada, his mother, Barbara Arendt (Miles Shultis) of Plainfield, his father, David (Janet) Arendt of Nekoosa, his brothers, Kurt Arendt of Nekoosa, Eric Arendt (Kristen Jezeski) of Wisconsin Rapids, his nephews, Alex and Joseph Arendt of Pittsville, his former spouse, Kaska Arendt, stepsister, Heather Whitney of La Crosse, stepbrother, Jason Whitney of Nekoosa, and step grandmother, Anita Foley of Wisconsin Rapids.
Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Mildred Pratt and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Katherine Arendt.
