Lynnette G. Fischer, age 63, of 5520 Barberry Lane Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Burlington, VT, passed away Sunday October 7, 2012 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Wednesday at the Nekoosa United Church of Christ. Rev. Micah Schlobohm will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa. Friends may call at the Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the church from 10 to 11 AM. Lynnette was born February 19, 1949 in Wis. Rapids to Lawrence and Eulalia (Sweet) Spice. She married Gary T. Fischer on October 5, 1968 in Nekoosa. While living in Vermont, Lynette was employed for 30 years at Skis Dynastar Inc. in the personnel and accounts payable dept. and in earlier years at the Burlington Free Press Newspaper Co.

Lynnette was a member of Job's Daughters - Bethel #23 and was a Deacon at the Nekoosa United Church of Christ. Her interests included water coloring, creating flower arrangements and traveling with her husband, Gary. She enjoyed table decorating for the Riverview Hospital Auxiliary Fundraiser at the Ridges Golf Course and flower decorating at the Nekoosa United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary; brother, Darrell (Nelle) Spice of Lake Jackson, TX; three sisters, Charlotte (Bill) Frazier of McHenry, IL, Montese (Tom) Schider of Nekoosa, and Malinda (Dale) Stensberg of Green Bay; Gary's parents, Howard and Betty Fischer of Wisconsin Rapids; her godchildren, Brian Frazier of McHenry, IL and Amy Fischer-Smith of Grafton, WI. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Brian Frazier, Darrell Spice Jr, Michelle Walker, Shawn Spice, Misty Sorenson, Seth Schider, Elliott Schider, Erin Place, Emily Gajeski, Elise Lofgren and Amy Fischer-Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Carl and Wave Sweet and Val and Linnea Spice

Lynnette's family would like to thank Ministry Home Care Hospice, Marshfield Clinic Cancer Center of Wisconsin Rapids, and the Fanny Allen Center for Cancer in Colchester, VT.
