William Weaver Obituary
William "Bill" Weaver, 69, passed away peacefully Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Wisconsin Rapids Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Bill was born on November 25, 1942 to Granville and Monona (McKee) Weaver in Wisconsin Rapids. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a medic with the 44th Surgical Hospital MA in South Korea. He worked as a switch engine operator at Consolidated Papers/StoraEnso retiring in 2001 after 40 years. On June 6, 1970, he married Mary Kruger in Wisconsin Rapids. Together they raised three sons. Bill's family was very important to him. He enjoyed traveling to visit them. He also loved to read; especially about WWII history.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, three sons, Douglas (Paula) Weaver, St. Louis, MO, Dan (Regan) Weaver, San Diego, CA, Dale (Katie) Weaver, Peyton, CO, six grandchildren, Brian and Katie, St. Louis, Cash and Liv, San Diego, Brett and Brynnlee, Peyton, three brothers James (Dawn) Weaver, Biron, Tom Weaver, Wisconsin Rapids, John Weaver, King, three sisters, Donna (Joe) Dachel, Granton, Judy Konopa, Wisconsin Rapids and Marla Weaver, Stevens Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday May 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Father John Steiner will officiate.
