Warncke, Lillian I.

Lillian I. Warncke, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 21st at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 20th and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.

Lillian was born October 24, 1930 in Withee, WI to Edward and Dorothy (Anderson) Anderson. She married Clarence Warncke on September 27, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Lillian worked at the Sugar Bowl Restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids and later worked as a home cleaner for several area families.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillian loved traveling and camping, dining at Red Lobster, playing bingo and going to the casino.

Lillian is survived by four children: Allen Warncke, Wisconsin Rapids, Darrell Warncke, Hudsonville, Michigan, Mary (Gary) Filocco, Port Edwards, and Judy (Ricky) Barber, Pensacola, Florida; five grandchildren: Krystal (Scott) Freimark, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Shannon (Robert) Zawacki, Alto, Michigan, Troy Filocco, Port Edwards, Tom (Crystal) Warncke, Hudsonville, Michigan, and Michelle Warncke, Pensacola, Florida; eight great-grandchildren: Brenna, Hannah,and Austin Zawacki, Morgan Freimark, Corey , Logan and Keegan Warncke, and Carter Worthy; and one brother, Harvey (Velda) Anderson, Withee, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and five sisters.
