Julia G. Rozelle, age 94, of Wisconsin Rapids, went to her eternal rest on June 29, 2014 at Hill Top Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. Paul Tullberg will officiate. Burial will be in the Hamilton-Holiday Cemetery, in the town of Leola, Adams County. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 2nd and from 12:00 P.M. until the time of services on Thursday, all at the funeral home.

Julia was born on January 17, 1920 in the town of Rome, WI to Joseph and Bertha (Gaydos) Taylor. She attended Holiday grade school, Friendship schools and Milwaukee High School. She married Roy L. Rozelle on June 29, 1940.

They moved to Beloit, WI in 1946 where Julia worked for JC Penney's and Stewarts Dept. Stores. She retired to her home in the Hancock area in 1975. Roy and Julia celebrated 60 blessed years of marriage before he passed away on January 7, 2001.

Julia loved to entertain her family, play cards, and cook meals for everyone. She was an artist and she loved to garden and was well known for her green thumb.

Julia is survived by two sons: Allan (Patricia) Rozelle; Brian Rozelle; one sister: Elizabeth Taylor; four grandchildren: Joseph (Sarah) Rozelle; Helena (Matthew) Schaefer; Zachary (Lisa) Rozelle; and Erika R. Rozelle; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband Roy, brother Alvin Taylor, two sisters Barbara Krambeer, and Margaret Di Staola.
