Carter Michael Houghton
Carter Michael Houghton, 3 month old son of Roger Houghton Jr. and Lena Cleveland, passed away Thursday evening, June 7, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Native American Church services will be held at Noon on Sunday, June 10th at Cex Haci Community Center in Nekoosa. Lot Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Dexterville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at Cex Haci Community Center in Nekoosa.
Carter was born February 11, 2012 in Wisconsin Rapids. Carter was a very calm and happy baby who talked and smiled a lot. Although his time with us was very brief, he is loved and missed by many relatives.
He is survived by his parents; brothers and sisters: Joseph Reyes, Madison Houghton, Destiny Regalia, Tylin Cloud, Dylan Funmaker, and Raelyn Cable; grandparents: Roger Houghton Sr., Margaret Houghton, and Wilfrid Cleveland; uncles: Daniel Houghton, Michael Houghton, David Cleveland, Wallace Cleveland, and Kodiak Cleveland; and aunts: Deirdra Brasure, Jewel Houghton, Nikki Houghton, Landis Hill, Kayla Cleveland, and Tori Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Fern Shegonee and brother, Damon John Houghton.
