Stoflet, Marie L.

Marie L. Stoflet, 89, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday December 14, 2012. Marie was born on October, 15, 1923 to Bruno and Pearl Narel (Flattoff). She served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. She worked at a locker plant, Red Owl, and was the owner of the Square bar. Marie enjoyed life, had a smile as big as her heart, and was extremely generous. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards and dice.

Marie is survived by family, Scott, Kim, and Kellie Hoffman, Mitch, Steph, Ian, and Payton Holliday, Zach, Kelsey, and Sydney Heindl; sisters Pat Leibham and Dorothy Zernhelt; sisters in law, Ginny Narel, Olive Stoflet, Sylvia Blatt, and many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents, and siblings.

Visitation will be at Higgins Funeral Home on Tuesday Dec. 18 from 4-8pm. The funeral will be at St. Lawrance Catholic Church on Wednesday Dec. 19with visitation from 9-10am with the service to follow.
