Clem G. Tauschek 96 of Marshfield died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Evergreen Place of North Central Health Care in Wausau.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30am Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield with Fr. Sam Martin Officiating. Entombment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
Visitations will be from 9:30am on Thursday at the church until time of service.
Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Clem was born on September 21, 1916 in Marshfield to Frank and Frances (Koller) Tauschek. He attended Milladore Graded School.
He was united in marriage to Rose C. Aschenbrener on October 26, 1943 at St. Kilian's Catholic Church in Blenker. Rose died on December 8, 2002.
Clem retired from farming in the town of Sherry in 1975. They then moved to Marshfield and worked for Augusta Roddis Family for 18 years.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #1799 of Marshfield.
Clem is survived by his daughter Marge (Ron) Gass of Wisconsin Rapids, grandchildren Michael (Becky) Gass of Green Bay and their daughters Katelynn Rose and Kyah Marie; Leianne (Chad) Gottbeheut of Wausaukee and their son Daniel Walter. He is further survived by his brother Franklin (Mary) Tauschek of Green Bay and a sister Irene Fait of Marshfield.
Besides his parents and wife Rose, he was preceded in death by two brothers Ervin and Francis Tauschek and a sister Rita Kundinger.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview and Evergreen Place of North Central Health Care for their special care to dad the last 3 years as he went through the final stages of alzheimers.
Memorials may be designated to St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield.
