Gerald Foss Obituary
Gerald G. Foss, age 44, of 132 Oak Brook Court, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church (910 McKinley Street) Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The Rev. Chuck Bradbury will officiate. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial at the Windfall Cemetery, Granton, WI.
Gerald was born September 26, 1969 in Marshfield, WI to Jerry and Karen (Salzwedel) Foss. He married Paula Edinger on April 21, 2007 at Crafton Heights United Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, PA. Gerald was employed as a supervisor at Figi's in Marshfield, WI before opening his transporting service for the Amish community. He loved fishing, traveling, listening to country music, collecting Garfield figurines and stuffed animals. Gerald especially enjoyed driving the Amish all over the United States and was especially close to his cousin Tim.
Gerald is survived by his wife Paula and daughter Karyn of Wis. Rapids, Father Jerry Foss of Pittsville, WI, Paternal Grandmother Anna Foss of Marshfield, WI, Maternal Grandmother Dorothy Bidwell of Marshfield, WI, brother Terry (Dawn) Foss of Granton, WI, sister Sherri (Dan) Weis of Pittsville, WI, nephew Michael Becker, nieces Marissa Becker and Courtney Foss, mother-in-law Marlyn Edinger of Wis. Rapids and sister-in-law Cheri (Mark) Brandt and their daughter Tiffany Stashek of Wis. Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his mother Karen, grandfathers Lavern Foss and Gordon Salzwedel, sisters Michele Patchen and Ashley Hilton, father-in-law George Edinger.
In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a memorial at a later date.

Our sincere sympathy for your loss Paula and Karyn. Our thoughts are prayers are with the family.Wish I could of grew up knowing more of jerry.. There are a few things I remember about cousin jerry and I will cherish the memories I do have.. Rest in peace cousin.
