Kenneth Benner Obituary
Kenneth C. Benner, age 81, of Nekoosa, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11 AM at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa. Rev. Timothy Miller will officiate. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. Kenneth was born April 9, 1935 in Nekoosa to Harold and Laura (McCoog) Benner. He married Priscilla Roberts on October 10, 1957 in Washington Mills, New York. He served in the US Air Force from 1953 until 1957 during peacetime and later served in the Naval Reserves. Kenneth was employed by Nekoosa Papers/Great Northern for 38 years, retiring in 1989 as Shipping Department Foreman. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Priscilla Benner; his son, Charles (Lynn) Benner of Wisconsin Rapids; his daughter, Sandra Dankemeyer of Nekoosa; two grandsons, Trinity Able Dankemeyer and Michael Murphy; one granddaughter, Joy (Dan) Berg; and one great granddaughter, Tamia Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Clarine Lutz.

Priscilla , so sorry to hear about the love of your life. You dd a great job in caring for him. I know it will be difficult , but you are strong women. I will always remember him as kind man and liked to tease us girls at the salon. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
