Clifford Charles Romohr, 88, of Blanchester, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.
Born to Samuel and Alice Berger in Morrow on March 1, 1925, Clifford was a farmer for more then 70 years and it was truly his passion. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Wilmington, and was active for 10 years on the Clinton Memorial Hospital board.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Romohr; two brothers, Albert "Bud" Romohr and William Romohr; and one sister, Helen Florea.
Clifford is survived by his loving companion, Sue Houk of Blanchester; two sons, Gary (Elizabeth) Romohr of Yellow Springs and Mark Romohr of Blanchester; five grandchildren, Emma, Eric, Krista, Samantha and Mark II, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home. Internment will follow in Morrow Cemetery.
