Don Mishlan

Don Mishlan, 75, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Jan. 4, 2017 near his home in Leesburg, Florida.

A native of East McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Vulcan. After his discharge, he settled in the Dayton area, taking a job with General Motors.

While making his home in Wilmington, he was an active member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, the Eagles and American Legion Post 49. After 30 years with GM, he retired to Florida.

His wife of 43 years, Dean, preceded him in death in 2006.

He is survived by their children, Faith West (John) of Smithfield, Virginia, Hope Koestner of Wilmington and Donald F. Mishlan (Krissy) of Kent, Ohio; and his sister, Barbara Madden of Merritt Island, Florida.
