Edna Nadine MacNaughton, 90, of Wilmington, went home to be with the Lord 3:50 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014.
She was born Aug. 25, 1924 in Jasper, M.O., a daughter of the late Herman and Florence Rose Young.
Ms. MacNaughton worked for Celucoat Corp. in St. Louis. She was an active member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Troy and the Overland Christian Church in Overland, M.O.
Nadine blessed family and friends with her ministry of serving.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Anne Kwan of Skidmore, M.O., and Sharon Kaye (Dave) Hardwick of Wilmington; a son, Martin Walter MacNaughton of Overland, M.O.; a sister, Geraldine Bunn of Jasper, M.O.; a sister-in-law, Lois Young of Carthage, M.O.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Leigh Jones, Jody Lynn Kwan (Paul) Jones, Joshua James (Rebecca) Kwan, Stephanie (Mark) Stokes, Rebecca (Jerry) VanPelt, and James (Elizabeth) Hardwick; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Charles Young and Clifford Young, a sister, Norma Jean Young, and a great grandson, Caleb VanPelt, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St., Wilmington, with Pastor Kelly D. McInerney officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
