Bill was very active in the lives of his children and grandchildren, who were the highlight of his life. Whenever possible, he attended sporting events of his grandchildren, watching and going to the Cincinnati Reds games, collecting sports memorabilia, and enjoyed being at all of the family gatherings.

Bill loved the time he spent selling Avon and talking to all his costumers and friends.
