Wilma Janice Ward, 80, formerly of Wilmington, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Continental Manor in Blanchester.
Her husband, Julian C. Ward, preceded her in death. They were married Aug. 23, 1969.
Mrs. Ward was born Aug. 2, 1933 in Marshfield, Mo., a daughter of the late James C. and Rowena Morris Browning. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington.
Mrs. Ward is survived by a son, James W. Earley of Wilmington; a brother, Frank Browning of Marshfield, Mo.; a sister, Patty Alexander of Marshfield, Mo.; two grandchildren, Shane (Tammy) Earley and Shannon (Heath) Holbert; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, four brothers, Tom Browning, Roy Browning, Bill Browning, and Charles Browning; and four sisters, Nola Kinsella, Hazel Hyde, Betty Shearer, and Joan Blackburn, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, July 26 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St., Wilmington. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
