Della Imogene Flint, 86, of Midland, died 9:28 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
Her husband, Gene Flint, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Flint was born April 15, 1927 in Lawrence County, a daughter of the late William and Rilla Clark Roach. She married Gene Flint March 28, 1952. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
Mrs. Flint is survived by a son, Corky (Debbie) Flint of Midland; a brother, Stanley (Betty) Roach of Franklin; three sisters, Alma Graves of Franklin, Alta Howard of Lees Creek and Edith Brown of Lincoln, Neb.; two grandchildren, Megan Flint of New Vienna and Casey Flint of Martinsville; a great-grandchild, Madison Rayson; several nieces and nephews; and her lap dog, Muggzie.
In addition to her husband and parents, three brothers, Vernon Roach, Jim Roach and Edgar Roach, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be noon, Tuesday, March 25, at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St., Wilmington. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, March 25, at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
