James F. Warehime, 76, of Sabina, passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 12, 2014 at his home.
He was born on July 22, 1937 in Sabina, a son of Leonard and Ramona Flint Warehime.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Babb Warehime.
After his 1955 graduation of Sabina High School, he and four friends joined the Navy together. He retired from the Wilmington Post Office and following his retirement had worked with security at DHL.
Mr. Warehime was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ and the Wilmington American Legion Post 49.
He is survived by his children, Dawn (Tom) Lyon of Wilmington, Lisa (Mike) Doll of Columbus, Nicole (Scott) Drake of Wilmington, Charles Alan Wilson, Mitzie (Gary) Gottfried and Toby Lee (Sharon) Thomas, all of Cedarville; grandchildren, Eric and Dylan Lyon, Jacob and Emily Doll, René (Jack) Hatert and Craig (Bonnie) Hartman and Gabby and Mattie Drake; two great-grandchildren, Raylyn and Carson; and a brother, Steve (Bonnie) Warehime of Reynoldsburg.
He was preceded in death by a son, James M., and his first wife, Delores J. Warehime.
The funeral service will be at the Littleton Funeral Home, 104 N. Jackson St. in Sabina, on Thursday at 11 a.m. The burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.
