Margaret Alice Myers, 85, of Wilmington, passed away early Thursday morning, Dec. 19, 2013 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1928 in Jamestown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Estel Marion and Mary McCoy. She married Harry Charles Myers, who also preceded her in death.
Margaret was a Foster Granny for the Clinton County Headstart Program for more than 23 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Regina Sue (Danny) Pagett of Clarksville; sons, Charles (Michelle) Myers of Wells Point, Texas, Michael (Kathy) Myers of Martinsville, Max Myers of Wilmington, David Lee (Karen) Myers of Wilmington, and Michael Allen Myers of Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, William, Frank, James, May, Josephine, Hobert, Sue and Lou.
The memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. at North Mulberry Street in Wilmington, with the Rev. Joe Pinkerton officiating.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. time of the service at the funeral home.
