Trinidad Hernandez

Trinidad "Trini" Hernandez, 74, of The Woodlands, TX, and formerly of Copperas Cove, TX, passed away peacefully at home with family at her side on August 22, 2013, after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer.

Trini worked in the food service industry, including as manager of fast food restaurants, but her greatest achievement in life was the love and support she provided to her family and friends. She devoted herself to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on for generations. A strong woman with a gentle nature, she was loved by all who came to know her and was happiest when doing something for someone she loved. Her hands were always busy and her heart was always full.

Trini was born in Wink, Texas on January 29, 1939 to Santos and Tomasa Cano. She is survived by her children, Lynda Ann Hernandez, Rozanne Hernandez Hill, and Daniel Ray Hernandez, her grandchildren Garett Miguel Hernandez, Cameron Manuel Hernandez, Melissa Janine Pearson, Jodi Ann Creel, Jesse Ray Hernandez, and Haley Marie Hill, her great grandchildren Jonathan Gregory Creel, Johanna "Hannah" Marie Creel, Eli Jude Pearson, Autumn Marlene Pearson, Leon William Hernandez, and Evan Richard Hernandez as well as many other family and friends who will love and miss her always.

Trini was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Rosa Guidry and Ramona Ramirez, brothers Peter Cano and John Cano, and her son-in-law Derek Allen Hill.
