Yvonne H. Pepin

Yvonne H. (Lussier) Pepin, 74, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife for 53 years of Roland A. Pepin.

Born in Woonsocket on November 26, 1941, she is the daughter of Vivian (Labonte) Lussier of Woonsocket and the late Ronald Lussier. She is the loving mother of Mark Pepin of New York City, David Pepin and his wife, Renee, of Cumberland; and Steven Pepin and his wife, Susan, of Uxbridge. She leaves her cherished five grandchildren, Michael, Kelsey, Courtney, Amanda and Mason. She is the sister of Alan Lussier and his wife, Carol, Ronald Lussier, Dennis Lussier and his wife, Joanne, Paul Lussier and his wife, Pauline; and Susan Godbout and her husband, Robert, and her nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was a resident of Blackstone for 50 years, formerly of Woonsocket and Bellingham, where she was raised and a graduate of Bellingham High School's Class of 1959. She was a communicant of the former Assumption Church and St. Theresa Church, where she also taught CCD. She was also a chaperone for the Blackstone Millville High School Band. She enjoyed crafts and bird watching. Devoted to her family, Yvonne will be greatly missed.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 20, at 9 a.m. from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 South Main St. (Route 126), Bellingham, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday, July 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
