Methta Darasouk Obituary
He was the husband of Mina (Nguyen) Darasouk of Woonsocket
Born in Laos, son of the late Thitnah and Bouthong Darasouk.
Methta worked as a Machine Operator for Cooley Inc. in Pawtucket for several years.
Besides his wife Mina, he is survived by his children; David Darasouk of Nevada, Gary Darasouk of California, Jimmy Darasouk, of Nevada, and Jerry Darasouk, of Nevada, Mona Darasouk of California, Tony Darasouk of Nevada, and Mino Darasouk and Martine Darasouk, both of Woonsocket. Nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He also was the brother of the late Kivaly Darasouk.
A Traditional Laos Service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 9 A.M in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI. followed by cremation at 11 A.M. in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd. Providence, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday evening April 16, 2015 from 5-7 P.M.

Mehta was a kind gentle and person who was truly devoted to his family. A hard worker who would always stop and talk with the traditional bow in greeting. A model for others.

It was with great sorrow that I read fo Meththa's passing. He was such a wonderful gentleman and we enjoyed having him and his family as tenants for many years. May God bless him.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Darasouk family in the loss of Methta. I worked with Methta at Cooley, Incorporated for many enjoyable years. He was such a fine gentleman, always very polite, who was well liked by all his co-workers. And, on behalf of everyone at Cooley, our sincerest condolences to each of you.
