DAME, Glenn* (The Palm Beach Post)  
DAME, Glenn Glenn Dame, age 66, of Waleska, GA, passed away on January 20, 2015 in Roswell, GA. Glenn was a Veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Palm Beach County School district for his 32 year teaching career, retiring in 2004. His parents, JW and Louise Dame, preceded him in death. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Patricia Dame and their "fur daughter", Trixie, daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Ben Payne and their "fur daughter", Lily, "surrogate" son and his wife, Eddie and Adrienne Torres and their "fur daughter" Bella, sisters, Barbara and Bill Hill and Lynda (Heaton) and Jon Shoda. At Glenn's request, he has been cremated and there will be several parties to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to brain cancer research. DAVIS, Leah Leah Davis, age 101, passed away on January 21, 2015 in West Palm Beach, where she had resided for 37 years. Leah was born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 7, 1913 to parents Joseph and Eva Lobel. A progressive woman, Leah had many artistic talents and was ahead of her time. Leah was predeceased by Carl Davis, her husband of over 40 years. She is survived by her children, Judy Hutner (Richard) of Westboro, MA, Richard Naroff of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Gary Hutner (Karen) of Clinton, MA, Edward Hutner (Elise) of Armonk, NY; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Claire, Carley, Alex and Merideth Hutner. A Funeral Service will be held at the Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33417 on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 10:00AM. SALLY K. DAYTON Sally K. Dayton, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Harper House, Treasure Coast Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Anne (Milner) and William Kingston of Salem, Massachusetts. Born in Salem, Sally resided in Salem and Beverly, Massachusetts; West Caldwell, New Jersey; Bow, New Hampshire; and Richmond, Kentucky before moving to Stuart, Florida in 1990. Sally is survived by her husband David R. Dayton, with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage, her children: Dianne and husband Thomas Dowd of Belgrade, Maine; Stephen Dayton and wife Kim of Northwood, New Hampshire; Donna and husband William Losefsky of Gilmanton, New Hampshire and Mark Dayton of Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren: Laura Dowd and husband David Scott of Belgrade, Maine; Sarah Dowd of Champaign, Illinois; Cameron Dayton Duckworth of Portland, Oregon; Cray, Madelyn, and Jamie Dayton of Forest Hills, Maryland; and great granddaughter Iris Scott of Belgrade, Maine. She leaves her brother, William (Al) Kingston of Berwick, Maine; nephew and nieces, and beloved cousins. Sally and her husband have lived in Stuart at the Yacht and Country Club for the past 25 years. She has been an active volunteer for the Hibiscus Children's Center for abused children and Treasure Coast Hospice. A parishioner of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church she served as a member of the Altar Guild. An active member of the Yacht and Country Club, Sally was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed golf, croquet, bingo, and trivia. As a native New Englander, Sally was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan. In addition, Sally was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and a former Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Sally's family would like to thank the staff of the Martin Memorial Hospital Emergency and ICU for their caring and attentiveness, and also the staff of Harper House, Treasure Coast Hospice. There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate Sally's life at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church, 5151 SE Railway Avenue, Port Salerno, Florida at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sally's name may be made to Hibiscus Children's Center, 2400 Northeast Dixie Highway, Jensen Beach, FL 34957 or Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St, Stuart, FL 34997. DEMPSEY, William H.* (The Palm Beach Post)  
DEMPSEY, William H. William H. Dempsey, 87, died on Friday, January 9, 2015, at his home in West Palm Beach. Bill was born on May 27, 1927 in Whitmire, South Carolina. He was the oldest son of the late William Hal Harrison and Edna Morgan. Bill had two brothers, Charles and Donald. Bill joined the U.S. Merchant Marines at the age of 16 during World War II. He worked in the engine room on board various merchant ships during the war delivering supplies to our servicemen fighting in Europe and Asia. After the war, he moved to Miami with his family. He became a freemason in 1953 in Miami. In 1963, he moved to West Palm Beach where he remained until his death. Bill was the manager of Consolidated Utilities in Gramercy Park from 1968 until his retirement in 1993. Bill is survived by his wife, Frances, who he married in 1945. He is also survived by his two sons, James and Glenn. His daughter, Belinda, died in 2008. Bill is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Eilleen; his four grandchildren, Tim, Patrick, Kristen and Katie; and his five great-grandchildren, Karissa, Thomas, Fiona, Charlotte and Matthew.
