RANTALA, Viola* (PalmBeachPost.com)
RANTALA, Viola Viola Rantala, age 90, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2015, after a brief medical condition. Viola is survived by her daughter, Marianne Rantala, of New York, and her granddaughters, Erica and Nina (who both reside in Colorado). After living and working in Finland in bookkeeping, she immigrated to the United States in the 1950s, settling in Ohio and meeting her former husband, Lauri Rantala (now residing in Finland). She ultimately moved to Lake Worth, where she very much enjoyed the beach, music, plants and walking around the beautiful neighborhood near the intracoastal waterway. She always put her family first selflessly and will be greatly missed by her loved ones. To express condolences and/or make donations: Visit PalmBeachPost.com/obituaries
