Martin Clyde Martin, 86, died on Friday March 8, 2013, in Oak Ridge, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ballard Thomas Martin and Melissa Eveline Jones Martin, and brothers, Clarence Martin and Roy Martin, Sr. Clyde was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He owned and operated Grove Liquor and Wine in Oak Ridge until his retirement in 2002. Survivors include a brother, Gene Martin of Rockwood, Tenn. Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in the Mount Rose Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Cahill officiating and Military Rites conducted by Saltville V.F.W. Post 7328. The family had everyone wishing to attend the graveside service gather at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday for procession to the cemetery.
