Arnold Crouse Obituary

Crouse Arnold I. Crouse, 92, of Callaway and formerly of Marion died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010. He was born Aug. 3, 1918, in Smyth County. He was the sweetest, kindest and dearest man. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Crouse; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Eddie Smith; grandson, Jacob Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Algie and Patsy Crouse; nephew, William Crouse and wife, Joyce; stepchildren, Bonnie Shelton, Donna Curry and Mike Chitwood; 21 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and daughter, Sharon Crouse Chase and family of Marion. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner Bowman Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Dr. William Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke. His family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home & Crematory in Rocky Mount www.connerbowman.com Conner Bowman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
