Benton "Little Frankie" Stowers

Benton F. Stowers Benton "Little Frankie" Franklin Stowers, 45, of Bastian joined his dad in Heaven on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, to live eternally with their Heavenly Father. Funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at the Bland Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul Looney officiating. Interment was in the Bishop Chapel Cemetery. He was born Aug. 29, 1964, in Bluefield, W.Va. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed his job as a car salesman. He was preceded in death by his father, Frankie Junior Stowers. Survivors include his mother, Louise Stowers of Clearfork; ex-wife, Lynn Stowers of Princeton, W.Va.; a son, Sean Cameron Stowers of Princeton, W.Va.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen and David Pennington, Rhonda Kanode, all of Clearfork; a niece, Amanda Kanode and fianc‚, Josh Daniels; and three nephews, Adam Pennington, Noah Pennington and Corey Kanode. Highland Bland Funeral Chapel in Bland was in charge of the arrangements.
