Though I haven't seen Beverly for years, I am reminded of the happy times we spent laughing together at my sister's house many years ago. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, to whom she was deeply devoted. My deepest sympathy to her family and all those who loved her.

Herb,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your wife. While I didn't know her, your confidence in and love for her came through each time you talked about her. I want you to know that I have been and will continue to hold you and your son up in my prayers.

Dear Herb and Brandon, I want to express my sympathy and love for you as you go through this time of sorrow. Beverly was such a loving person. She was also a great employee and friend. More than that she was an inspiration for my son when he was dying of cancer. She would send him cards and call to encourage him when he was down. She was truly a blessing to our family. I will never forget her - her spirit lives on. I will continue to pray for your entire family. May God be with you.

Dear Herb. I am very sad to hear that Beverly is gone from the Earth. I sat with her in Study Hall at Chilhowie High School and got into a lot of trouble with our Vice Principle because I was laughing at HER laugh! Then later when I went to college in Richmond, Beverly and I were friends. We lost touch through the years as people often do but I will always keep warm thoughts of her with me. Peace to you and your family. Lisa Blevins O'Connor, Naples Italy.

Phibbs/Berry Family,

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time.
