Daniel A. Newberry Daniel Argen Newberry, 65, of Speedwell died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. Funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Timmy Farmer, Doug Stuart and Ron Newberry officiating. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Speedwell United Methodist Church Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Newberry; and a nephew, Ronnie Newberry. Survivors include his mother, Aileen Stuart Newberry of Speedwell; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Betty Newberry of Speedwell; special niece and nephew, Teresa Collins of Wytheville and James Newberry of Speedwell; best friend, Greg "Radar" Holliday of Speedwell; several cousins; and many friends. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
