Danny Joe Palmer Danny Joe Palmer, age 50 of Tazewell County, VA, passed away Sun., Nov. 28, 2010. Born April 4, 1960, he was the son of the late Betty Davis and Freddie Joe Palmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Belve and Nina Palmer, Lear J. Carr, Arthur Carr, Ollie Davis and Elmer Davis. He is survived by his step father, Marvin (Donnie) Davis; step mother, Sharon Palmer; two brothers, Dennis Palmer and Ronnie Davis and wife, Lynn; two sisters, Pennie Davis and Katie Davis; three special nieces, Nicole Davis, Hope Davis and Reagan Davis; two very special aunts, Mildred Taylor and Elizabeth Marshall. Funeral services were conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wed., Dec. 1, 2010 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, VA, with Rev. Robert Short officiating. The family received friends after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thurs., Dec. 2, 2010 at Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, VA. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
