Elva Davis

Davis Elva Davis, 89, died on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 at her home in Marion. She was born in Rugby to the late Jane Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis, a stepdaughter, Dot Owen, four stepsons, Stacy, Wade, Dennis and John Davis, and a grandson, Matthew Teaters. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include one daughter, Vanessa and David Teaters of Marion; one grandchild, Melissa Mason and husband, Robert; two step-grandchildren, Connie Davis and Darrell Hill; and two great-grandchildren, Kalee and Lynee Mason. The family received friends Thursday, Aug. 5, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Bradley's Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Darrell Pickle and the Rev. David Neitch officiating. A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.
