Helen T. McIntyre

HELEN T. MCINTYRE MARION, VA-Helen T. McIntyre, 88, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010. Mrs. McIntyre was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Willie and Lillie Thompson and was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis McIntyre, two sisters, Lovelyn Trail and Eva Todd, and a brother, Ned Thompson. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, where she had been a member of the choir, taught Sunday School and took care of the flowers for several years. Survivors include: children, Debbie Blevins and husband Jimmy, Sugar Grove, Ray McIntyre and wife Dana, Marion, Barbara Price and husband Audie, Rancho Mirage, CA; brother, Bob Thompson, Florida; grandchildren, Darrin McIntyre, Sonja Shelton, Sean Blevins, Allen Blevins, Jason Price, John Price, Mandy Fletcher, Matt Blevins; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Patterson, Jordan, Brennan, Kaylee, Greydon, Sydney, Jake, Hailey, Kameron, Kyle. She is also survived by many friends and her church family. Funeral service was held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Mike Teague officiating. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Methodist Church Cemetery.
