To the Hancock family - I was saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I had gotten to known him from his work with the Beach Community Grange as he volunteered his time working at the bingo game and even on nights when he was not working playing bingo. Jerry was one of kind man and with his personality with the way he interacted with everyone he came across he touched everyone during his time with us.
On behalf of myself and everyone with the Office of Charitable Gaming, our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was so deeply saddened to hear about Jerry’s passing. I lovingly remember his dedication to the Grange – be it the county fair, the annual Halloween party, the countless stews, and so much more. His leadership will be greatly missed.
Although Jerry could come off rough and tough, he was truly had a gentle soul. He was a very loving grandfather and husband. I know Gladys will miss him greatly.
My family and I offer our love and support. We will always be here for you.

Gladys and family, My deepest sympathy goes out to each of you. I though a lot of Jerry kinda like a second Dad, mentor and a truely dear friend. Though we did bump heads now and them at the Grange, He always seem to see things MY WAY, and enjoyed him self and others. I will miss him dearly and our Grange has lost a Super Leader. May God bless each of you and comfort you in this difficult time. love to each of you.
