Kathleen Duncan Hall

Kathleen D. Hall Kathleen Duncan Hall, 92, a longtime resident of Wilmington, Del., died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010. Funeral service was held Thursday, Sept. 2, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Wilmington, Del. Private interment was in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. She was born in Ceres, daughter of the late Lanze and Jessie Duncan. For many years, she operated her own beauty parlor out of the basement of her Washington Street home. Although she never advertised her business, she had a broad clientele and felt privileged to serve her many Wilmington ladies. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Ruth Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband of 68 years, Ralph P. Hall, died in 2006. Survivors include a niece, Linda Schwaitzberg; a nephew, Douglas Flynn, and his family; a great-niece, Dianna Vejar; and cousins, Betty Sadler and Amanda Sadler. Memorial donations may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2313 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. McCrery Funeral Homes Inc. in Wilmington, Del., was in charge of the arrangements.
