larry was a dad to me and gary. we loved him a lot. he would love to tell stories of his "olden days" when he was a airforce pilot, a suburu salemans, a flea market vendor. he showed us pictures of his family from 'way back". he loved his family. he shared the writings of ruby his wife, who preceded him in death. he missed her terribly. he told us often that all he wanted was to "go see ruby". we always included him for dinner, but in the last days his stomache hurt so bad that he could not eat, so we would go over and just spend in each other's presence. he loved the gardens every summer. he was always afraid that someone would take something, he always got the first tomato and cucumber of the vines. he said he liked them but i think he was more of a carnivore.:) his last concern was for his 18 year old dachund, samatha. she now lives with us. he loved the children that would come visit our home. he would always give them gifts. he gave gifts to everyone in our building. he really enjoyed when we bar-b-qued outside. sometimes he got a hankerin' for a steak in the middle of a snow storm, but out came the grill, and we fired it up. we have many, many memories of larry. we miss him dearly. his family is in our thoughts and prayers.
