Cable Mildred Greer Cable, 78, of Pulaski died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at New River Valley Medical Center. Born July 31, 1932, in Chilhowie, she was the daughter of the late Mattie Greer Troxell. Her husband, Berlin Ray Cable, and two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. She was a lab technician at the RAAP with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Pulaski Church of God. Survivors include her children, Michael Ray and Janet Hayes Cable of Pulaski, Carol Ann Cable of Draper, and Scott Alan and Stephanie Cable-Snowville; six grandchildren, Daniel Cable, twins Zachery Cable and Ethan Cable, Brandon Fisher, Bethany Fisher, and Philip Hayes; one brother, Bobby Troxell; one sister, Linda Guyer; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Berry and John Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The family received friends Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. To send the family online condolences, visit www.bowerfuneralhome.com.
