Anderson Robert Seth Anderson, 24, died on Dec. 30, 2010, at home. He always had a big heart and a big smile. He never met a stranger, and he never failed to tell you he loved you. He worked as a pipeline helper and plumber, Local 106 and Fred Badon Plumbing. He was a proud father, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and a good friend. Survivors include his son, Dax Waylon Anderson; his parents, Willis and Bonnie Anderson; sisters, Johnnie Gail Anderson Ardoin and husband, Mike Ardoin, and Brandy Anderson Trahan; grandmother, Kathleen Venable; and several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Chatham Hill Methodist Church on Mill Dam Road in Rich Valley with Howe Campbell officiating. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville is in charge of arrangements.

I would like to offer my condolences. When a love one dies, it is very sad. It  is even more devastating  when it is sudden. In Psalm 34: 18, our Heavenly Father assures us that "He is near to those broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves."

The loss of a child is something none of us want to see in our lifetime. I can't even imagine the pain you guys are induring now. I love you both and pray God can give you the comfort of knowing he has someone to help him watch over you now. Go rest high on that mountain Seth. Your work here is done.

Just the other day I was thinking about Seth and how funny and silly he was when he was younger. I just kicked back and remembered me, Chris, and Seth at Jerry's & Wanda's pond.
